A&O Technology named as Knight of Illumination Awards Bar Sponsor 2012UK – A&O Lighting Technology GmbH is Exclusive Bar Sponsor for this year’s Knight of Illumination Awards. This year’s invite only event will be held at Battersea Evolution, London and promises to be a spectacular event. An innovation will be the newly integrated bar for a get-together after the awards.
A&O Technology will support this year’s event as the industry gears up for this September’s ceremony. A&O says it is “delighted” to have the opportunity to sponsor the bar area, which will provide KOI invited guests with an opportunity to network in convivial surroundings, following the more formal dinner and awards. “We are aware of the importance of the KOI event and therefore delighted to offer the major support for the Get-Together after the Awards,” said Marco Niedermeier, CEO, A&O Lighting Technology.
A&O leases, sells, designs and installs a huge inventory of lighting products, making the company an especially relevant sponsor for KOI – the only awards dedicated to celebrating the work of the professional lighting designers. Over the years A&O has developed a worldwide network and today the company has business centres in Germany (the headquarters), UAE, USA, UK and Asia.
“The Knight of Illumination Awards is delighted to welcome A&O Lighting Technology as exclusive sponsors of the bar and after dinner get together,” said KOI Coordinator Durham Marenghi. “We’re all looking forward to a friendly evening celebrating lighting design in all its many guises.”
