A&O Technology named as Knight of Illumination Awards Bar Sponsor 2012

UK – A&O Lighting Technology GmbH is Exclusive Bar Sponsor for this year’s Knight of Illumination Awards. This year’s invite only event will be held at Battersea Evolution, London and promises to be a spectacular event. An innovation will be the newly integrated bar for a get-together after the awards.

A&O Technology will support this year’s event as the industry gears up for this September’s ceremony. A&O says it is “delighted” to have the opportunity to sponsor the bar area, which will provide KOI invited guests with an opportunity to network in convivial surroundings, following the more formal dinner and awards. “We are aware of the importance of the KOI event and therefore delighted to offer the major support for the Get-Together after the Awards,” said Marco Niedermeier, CEO, A&O Lighting Technology.

The Knight of Illumination Awards, organized by STLD, ALD and Clay Paky, provides public recognition for outstanding achievements in Lighting Design by UK based Lighting Designers, in a number of professional areas. At the same time, the Awards forge closer ties between the world of Lighting Design and the Lighting Industry as a whole. The Awards for “The Knight of the Illumination” will be nominated and judged by a panel of professional reviewers working in the specific categories, selected and coordinated entirely by STLD and ALD. These two British associations of Lighting Designers will ensure that the Awards go to recipients showing professionalism and integrity of Lighting Design.
