Enchantment by Luminale-projects in Frankfurt am Main
On this year's Luminale, 22. - 27. April 2006 A&O Lighting Technology GmbH was represented with the "Frankfurter Lichtdach" as light jump and gate to Frankfurt. From the main train station to the European Central Bank a light roof overdrew the Kaiserstraße of the Main-metropolis. At the same time the roof-shaped illumination built a bridge from the main train station with the financial district up to the business centre of Frankfurt's city centre. A&O Technology implemented the project "Frankfurter Lichtdach" by the architect Prof. Wolfgang Rang and light planner Prof. Christian Bartenbach with the new xenon lighting system FALCON BEAM by manufacturer alpha one. 8 of the 4000W-xenon-beams were used for the production of the light-roof above the city.
