Arts Outdoor Lighting received the coveted Light Middle East Award – “Light Art Project of the Year” for “Emaar’s Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve 2019 Show” held in the heart of Downtown Dubai

This category honors temporary and permanent art lighting projects “which transform the perception of a given space making it attractive but also adding a value added wow effect using light as the essential design element and the fundamental construction material”.

The Light Middle East exhibition in Dubai is the standout platform for all decorative, architectural, outdoor, and indoor lighting across the region. Its awards ceremony showcase and celebrate the most outstanding lighting projects and design.

In collaboration with Emaar, the AO Creative team, under the direction of executive producer Marco Niedermeier, created a masterpiece of lighting and visual design on the iconic Burj Khalifa for the celebration of New Year’s Eve and the arrival of 2019.

The team created the light & laser concept for the show providing lighting design, technical planning, onsite design and pre-programming. Over 250 experts were also responsible for delivery and installation of high power RGB laser systems, high quality outdoor beam lights, custom made brackets and rigging.
